2 cups lukewarm water
2 pkgs yeast
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup Wesson oil
7 cups flour

Directions:
Put sugar, salt, and water into large mixing bowl; sprinkle in yeast. Add beaten egg and half the flour, beat well with mixer. Add oil and remaining flour. Stir well. Grease (same) mixing bowl, place dough in bowl and let rise until double (about 2 hours). Punch dough down, knead lightly on floured surface. Then pinch off enough dough to form 1/2-1 inch size balls. Place 2-3 balls into greased muffin tin. Let rise about 3 hours. Bake at 400º till brown. Butter tops of rolls while still warm.

Personal Notes:
This recipe can also be used to make Cinnamon Rolls. Roll out dough after it rises the first time into a rectangle(s). Brush melted butter over dough and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. (pecans/raisins optional) Roll up on long side. Slice about 1 inch apart into rolls. Place in 13x9-in lightly greased baking pan about 15-20 minutes at 350 F. Spread with powdered sugar glaze while warm.
NOTE: Make into Crescents by rolling dough into a circle; brush with melted butter and cut into triangles. Roll from wide end to form crescents.
Make Parker House Rolls by rolling dough into a rectangle and cutting into strips lengthwise then horizontally at about 1 inch intervals. Place 4 pieces (slices) side by side into greased muffin tin and bake at 400F until lightly brown.
These are a favorite of my sister-in-law, Evelyn Yount.
