1/2 cup finely diced onion
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cups rice (basmati, jasmine, etc)
2 tsp cumin seed
1 cup frozen peas
1 tsp salt
4 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and cumin seed in oil in large pot. Add rice and cook a minute. Add water, peas and salt. Bring to a boil then turn down and simmer 18 minutes until all liquid is absorbed. DE-LIGHTFUL!!!
