1 stick butter
2. c. boiling water
2 t. soda
1 lb raisins
1 t. cinnamon
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 t. salt
1 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix melted butter, soda, boiling water and raisins in a large bowl and let stand until cool.
Add cinnamon, well beaten eggs, sugar, flour, salt and nuts. Put in 2 greased and floured bread pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes
