3 lb top round beef (julienne cut)
1/2 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
1 pint of sour cream
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
pinch of white pepper
1 quart water
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
1 lb of egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Saute beef with soy sauce. Add garlic, salt, pepper, sugar and water. Cook until meat is tender. Maybe 1/2 hour on medium heat. add mushrooms and cook for 15 minutes. In a small bowl mix cornstarch and 1/2 cup water. Pour over sauce. Cook another 15 minutes. Add sour cream. Serve over noodles.
