saltine crackers -crushed
2 eggs
ketchup
bacon
ground chuck
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all above ingredients except the bacon really well. hands work best. Then shape and cover with bacon. Bake 350º. When bacon is done meat loaf is done.
Many different variations - can use prepared bread crumbs verses saltines. Can add minced onions.
These uncooked loaves freeze well.

Can use ketchup instead of bacon on top. Nanny served this with her famous butter beans.
