2 cups flour
3 eggs
1 tsp soda
1 cup oil
1 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup cooked prunes
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup chopped nuts

Mix and bake in greased & floured pans. Bake 1 hour st 350.

Icing for Prune Cake
1 cup sugar
1/2 cups buttermilk
1/4 lb butter
1 tbs Karo
1/2 tsp soda

Boil til brown. Pour on cake while both are warm.
