3 large onions, chopped
3/4 cup unsalted butter
1 lbs of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cups chicken stock
2 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
1 large egg
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
4 stalks celery, chopped
10 bagels, everything, garlic, onion or whole wheat; torn up and dried
2 bay leaves
2 1/2 tsp dried thyme
2 cups heavy cream

Directions:

melt butter in a large skillet and saute onions, garlic and celery over medium/high heat until golden brown.
preheat oven to 375º
in a very large bowl add the chicken stock, herbs, cream, veggies and egg; stir to combine well; add bagels and bacon; stir to combine; turn into a well greased shallow baking pan (12 cup capacity) and bake for 30 minutes until browned
