1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Sift these 3 Times, Beat Whites of 2 eggs stiff and set aside. ream 1/2 cup shortening with 1 cup white sugar and add well-beaten egg yolks (2).
Directions:
Directions:
To this add alternately with 1/3 cup of milk the flour mixture - fold in egg whites and 1 teaspoon vanilla and lastly add 1 1/2 cups floured blueberries. Bake at 350ºF for 35-45 minutes in a 9x9 Square pan or tube pan. Sprinkle batter lightly with sugar before baking for a topping.
