1 cup butter,
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1-1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2-3/4 cup coconut
2 tbsp. wheat germ if desired


Directions:

1. Cream together: butter, white and brown sugar.

2. Add the egg and bet well.

3. Add the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

4. Stir in oats and coconut.

5. Roll into small balls and press with a fork.

6. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
