3 squares (1 oz. each) baking chocolate
1/2 C. butter or margarine, plus 3 T.
2 eggs
1 C. sugar
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract, plus 1/2 tsp.
1/2 C. flour
1/8 tsp. salt

1 C. powdered sugar
1 T. cream or evaporated milk
green food coloring

Melt 2 squares chocolate and add 1/2 C. butter. Remove from heat.
Beat eggs until fluffy, stir in sugar, chocolate mix, and 1/4 tsp. extract. Add flour and salt, mix. Pour into greased and floured 9" pan, Bake 350º 20-25 minutes, firm but not hard. Cool.

MIx up filling: 2 T. butter, powdered sugar, cream and extract. Add few drops of green coloring. Spread over cooled brownie as smooth as possible, and keep covered in refrigerator while making glaze:

1 square chocolate, 1 T. butter, melted together.

Top filling with warm glaze, tilting pan to cover evenly. Chill before cutting into small squares.
