Slice leftover bread dressing or stuffing 3/4 inch thick. In a black cast iron pan or your favorite non stick pan, melt butter and put slices of dressing in and over low to medium heat brown the slices and serve.

We always make an extra pan of dressing at family dinners. We cook it with the other dressing or stuffing and refrigerate until we are ready to pan fry it. It tastes better than it did at the dinner. My immediate family looks forward this as much as the main dinner. You can fry this up for a side dish, or for breakfast if you like.
