1 pkg German Chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. butter

TOPPING:
1 c. sugar
1 c. Milnot
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 1/2 c. pecans or almonds, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all topping ingredients in saucepan and cook 10 to 13 minutes until thick. After cooking topping, save 1 1/4 cups of it. Put rest in cake mix. Make in to 1 inch balls. Press thumb in cookies. Put 1/2 tsp topping in each cookie. Bake at 350º for 10 to 13 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Cool 5 minutes before removing to cookie rack.
