1 cup corn flake crumbs
2 tblsp. sugar
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened at room temperature
1 1/3 c. (14oz can) Sweetened condensed milk
(Only sweetened condensed milk can be used)
1/3 c. lemon juice (measure accurately).
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (1lb. 5oz) can prepared Cherry Pie filling or Cherry Glaze**

Cherry Glaze:
1 c. 1/2 of 1 lb. can) drained, red, tart, pitted cherries
1 tblsp. sugar
2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 c. cherry juice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine crumbs, sugar and butter; mix well. Press evenly and firmly on bottom and sides of 9" pie plate. Chill. Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add Sweetened Condensed Milk; stir until well mixed. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla until well blended. Turn into prepared crust. Chill 2 to 3 hours. (DO NOT FREEZE). At serving time, garnish with Cherry Pie Filling or Cherry Glaze.
*If frozen lemon juice concentrate is used, reconstitute according to package directions.

**Cherry Glaze:
Drain cherries; measure juice. Combine sugar and cornstarch; stir in juice. Cook over low heat; stir constantly until thickened and clear. If desired, stir in a few drops of red food coloring. Add cherries. Cool. Spread over top of chilled cheese pie.

Variation: "No Cook" Peachy Cream Cheese Pie: Add 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to Crumb crust mixture. Reserve 2 tablespoons crumbs for top of pie. Proceed as directed above to make crust and filling. Drain well a one-pound can of sliced cling peaches. Arrange atop filling. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Chill.
