2 pkgs. bratwurst,
1/2 cup butter,
3 cans beer,
2-4 onions chopped,
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper,
1 T garlic powder,
2 cloves garlic, minced,
2 T brown sugar,
Sauerkraut, drained (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot, combine the butter, beer, onions, pepper, garlic powder, garlic and brown sugar...add brats. Bring to boil, lower heat, cover and cook for 45min - 1 hour. Add sauerkraut if desired, cook 15 minutes longer. Remove brats and grill...saving drained sauerkraut for condiment.

In a slow cooker, cover all and set to High for 4 hours, stirring once per hour, add sauerkraut and continue cooking for 1 more hour. Juicy melt in your mouth great!
