1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1/4 cup butter
3 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 cup scalding milk
1 1/3 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 2 quart casserole. Mix sugar, salt, cornmeal in a bowl. Add butter. Stir in boiling water. Mix well and let cool. Beat eggs and baking powder until fluffy. Stir in cornmeal mixture. Stir in milk. Pour into the casserole. Bake 350º for 35-40 minutes. Toothpick test for done-ness.
