1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. old-fashioned oats
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. Shredded Wheat, crushed
1/2 c. dried cranberries (Craisins)

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS:
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg
2 T. water
1/2 t. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda
and salt.
2. In a 1-quart glass container, layer the flour
mixture, sugar, brown sugar, oats, walnuts,
Shredded Wheat, and Craisins.
3. Cover and store in a cool dry place for up to 6
months. Yield 1 batch: (About 4 cups total)

TO PREPARE COOKIES:
4. In a large bowl, beat the butter, egg, water and
vanilla until blended. Add cookie mix and mix
well.
5. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto
ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8-10
minutes at 375 degrees or until lightly brown.
