1 c. hot water
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
3 1/2 c. Bread Flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 tsp of Active Dry Yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Place ingredients in bread machine as follows: water, beaten egg, shortening, flour, salt, and sugar. Make a small well in dry ingredients--add yeast. Place bread machine on dough cycle.

In a 9x13 casserole pan--melt approximately 3/4 stick of butter. When dough is done--make medium size ball and place in pan with warm melted butter. Cover with towel and let rise 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes.
