Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 package cream cheese softened
1/4 cup Solo brand almond paste
2 tsp flour
1/3 cup apricot preserves
2 pears pealed cored and sliced into 1/4 in slices

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º.
Line a 9in pie pan/10in tart pan with a Pillsbury pie crust

Cream together the butter and sugar. Then add the cream cheese. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add the almond paste and flour.
In a small sauce pan warm the apricot preserves until runny and spread over the crust. Poor the custard over the preserves and arrange the pear slices in concentric circles over the custard. Bake 35-40 minutes until the custard is puffed and slightly browned and pears are tender. Serve with whipped cream if desired.

Alternate serving idea: Replace the apricot preserves with caramel sauce, add 1 tsp cinnamon to the custard, and use apples instead of pears...
