1 can cream-style corn
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 well beaten eggs
1 4-oz can California green chiles
1/4 lb. (about 1 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Stir to blend all ingredients in a 8-inch or 9-inch square glass baking dish.
Bake at 400º for about 20-30 minutes or until mixture is set. (Alternate method - bake on high in microwave about 15 minutes until mixture is set.)
