6-8 fresh peaches sliced
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9x13" pan with sliced peaches.

Combine butter, 1/2 cup sugar, milk, flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla to make a batter.

Spread over peaches. Combine 1 cup sugar with water pour over batter.

Bake @ 350º for one hour

Note: if frozen peaches are used, reduce sugar in syrup to 1/3 cup
