1 lb ground beef
2 x 28 oz canned tomatoes
7 1/2 oz tomato sauce
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 1/2 oz envelope spaghetti sauce mix
1 cup cottage cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
15 wide lasagne noodles, uncooked

Directions:

Brown beef in frying pan. Break up any lumps
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic and spaghetti sauce mix. Bring to a boil and simmer slowly for 10 minutes. Put some of this on bottom of 9x13 inch pan, just enough to keep noodles from resting on bottom of pan.

In a small mixing bowl, mix cottage cheese, egg and parmesan cheese together well.

To assemble:
1. Bit of meat sauce
2. Layer of uncooked noodles
3. 1/3 meat sauce
4. 1/2 cottage cheese mixture
5. Layer of uncooked noodles
6. 1/3 meat sauce
7. 1/2 cottage cheese mixture
8. 1/3 meat sauce
9. All mozzarella cheese

Cover tightly with foil. Bake in 350 F oven for 1 hour or more until noodles are tender. Let stand 10
minutes before serving.
