3 or 4 cups rhubarb
3/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 tbsp butter

2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup margarine
1/2-3/4 cup milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Place rhubarb in a baking dish and cover with sugar
Dot with the butter and heat in a 350 oven, while you mix the batter

Sift 2 cups of flour with salt, baking powder, and sugar
Add margarine and cut in until the mixture is fine crumbs.
Beat egg and add milk
Add to the crumb mixture to make a soft dough
Spread the batter over the hot rhubarb
Bake in a 350 oven for 30-35 minutes
Serve warm with ice cream
