2 large unwaxed lemons
1/2 c. sugar
6 oz.fresh or frozen raspberries(1 c.)
1 c. cold water
2 c. sparkling water
12 ice cubes

Directions:
Rinse lemons. Carefully cut each lemon into 8 pieces. Put the lemons,sugar,raspberries,and 1 c. cold water in blender.Make sure the lid is on tight,blend 10 seconds. When machine has stopped,remove lid.Check to see that lemon pieces are about the size of peas.If not,blend 5 more seconds.Remove pitcher from machine.Put medium strainer on top of a large serving pitcher.Carefully pour the lemon mixture into the pitcher through the strainer.Using a spoon,gently press down on the lemons to squeeze out all of the juice.Throw away lemon pieces. Top up the juice with sparkling water-it will foam up, so add slowly.Stir in ice cubed and serve in chilled glasses.
