2/3 c. margarine
2/3 c. flour
7 c. milk, gradually stir in (can also substitute half and half)
4 large baked potatoes, cut in cubes
Salt and pepper to taste (1 tsp-ish)
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (2 c.) chicken broth
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp parsley
Chopped green onion
Bacon diced (I use microwave kind to make it easy)

Melt margarine in pot and whisk in flour. Gradually stir in milk and add potatoes. Bring to boil and reduce to simmer, stirring frequently. Add sour cream, chicken broth, cheese and herbs and warm until smooth. Top with green onions and diced bacon.
