5 cups flour, divided
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
¼ tsp. baking soda
2 cups warm milk (120-130F)
½ cup warm water
Cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt et baking soda. Add warm milk et water; beat on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl occasionally. Beat on high for 3 minutes. Stir in remaining flour (batter will be stiff). DO NOT KNEAD. Grease two 8 ½ x4 ½ x 2 ½ inch loaf pans. Sprinkle pans c cornmeal. Spoon batter into pans et sprinkle cornmeal on top. Cover et let rise in warm place until doubled approximately 45 minutes. Bake @ 375ºF for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove immediately to wire rack. Slice et toast.
