2 cups vanilla wafers
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
16 oz softened cream cheese
3/4 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1- 21oz can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Mix vanilla wafers, brown sugar and butter in bowl until crumbly. Press into lightly greased baking pan. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes or until edges are brown. Let stand until cool. Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla in mixer bowl until smooth. Spread carefully over baked layer. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until firm. Cool completely. Top with pie filling. Cut into squares. May substitute any flavor pie filling.
