3 cups sifted flour
1 lb. butter
1 lb. currants
1 lb. raisins
2 lbs sugar
1 cup grape jelly
1 cup molasses
1 cup citron
2 tbs. each cinnamon, allspice, cloves, baking soda

1/2 pint brandy (This ingredient was crossed out)
1 doz. eggs.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda and spices together in a large mixing bowl. Either sift it together, or take a fork and stir it around until it's mixed well.

Add in the grape jelly and butter and stir together.

Beat for 2 minutes on low speed, then add the eggs. Continue to beat for another 2 minutes.

Fold in the remaining fruit and the nuts.

Grease a tube or bunt pan and pour the batter into it.

Sprinkle the top of the batter with chopped nuts.

Bake it for 1 1/2 hours at 350 F.
