2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

FROSTING:
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 T. cocoa (scant)
Salt
1/2 stick margarine or butter
1/4 c. white Karo
1/2 c.milk
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
For cookies, cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and peanut butter. Add flour soda and salt. Mix well. Drop on baking sheet and bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
For frosting, bring all ingredients to boil for 2-3 minutes. Let cool. Beat until it loses gloss. Frost cooled cookies.
