2 3/4 c. flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2/3 c. molasses
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 c. salad oil
Raisins for decoration

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. In a large bowl, stir together the first four ingredients. In a small bowl, combine the next four ingredients, then stir the mixture into the dry ingredients to make a soft dough.
Divide dough into 12 pieces and cut each piece into 3. Shape a small round head, a sausage shape for the arms, and a longer sausage shape for the legs. Press flat on a baking tray. Add raisins for eyes and buttons. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown and firm at the edges.
