1 c. butter or margarine 2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. sugar 2 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs 2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. pumpkin 2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt 5 c. flour
2 pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar, eggs, and pumpkin. Add dry ingredients and mix. Add chocolate chips. Drop onto cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Can frost with a cream cheese frosting. Makes 6 dozen.

One time we made these and the pumpkin was old and tasted like metal from being in the can. Maddy was the only one that liked them, she said they didn't taste like metal... she had braces so metal must have tasted normal for her!! Fun times!!
