salt
Molly McButter
Parmesan Cheese (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Store asparagus standing upright in the refrigerator in a container with a small amount of water in the bottom,
If ends are dry, cut off the very end before placing in water
This will keep your asparagus fresh longer

Rinse asparagus to clean
Hold bottom and upper portion of stalk, bend to break where stalk is tough
Place steamer in a covered pot with 1 ½” of salted water in the bottom
When water boils, add asparagus
Steam 4-6 minutes, until crisp tender
If using with dips, plunge into cold water to stop cooking
If serving hot, sprinkle with Molly McButter while in the steamer
Add Parmesan cheese, if you like

Personal Notes:
Every spring we look forward to the fresh asparagus from our garden. It cooks so much quicker than what is purchased in the store - tastes better, too!
