Cake:
2 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/4 c. oil
2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries

Sauce:
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. whipping cream
Boil until sugar just dissolved.

Cake:
Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Stir in cranberries last. Spoon into a greased and floured angel food pan. Bake @ 300º for 50 minutes.

Invert cake onto a lovely cake plate. Dust with icing sugar. Serve with sauce.

This recipe was given to me by my favorite high school English teacher. When I wasn't able to go home during Thanksgiving, she had me over for turkey and served this dessert. Delightful.
