1/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 cup mashed very ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add two eggs- one at a time and beat. Add milk. Beat. Mix together dry ingredients. Mash bananas. Add flour mixture and mashed bananas alternately to creamed mixture, beating after each. Grease loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes then move to rack to cool.
