2 c. sugar
1/2 c. crisco
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. peeled chopped apples
Topping:
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Half 'n Half Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Blend 2 c. sugar and 1/2 c. crisco. Beat in 2 eggs and 2 tsp. vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in peeled, chopped apples. Bake @ 350º for 45-50 minutes.
For topping:
Bring all topping ingredients to a full boil. Boil a few minutes, stirring constantly. (Will be like thick syrup.)
Serve cake with hot topping spooned over it.
