1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon green onion, finely minced
Salt to taste
Black pepper, freshly ground to taste
4 portobello mushrooms, trimmed and left whole or cut in half

Directions:
Directions:
1) Mix the oil, onion, salt and pepper together in a small bowl. Brush the mushrooms all over with half of the oil mixture.
2) Grill with the caps away from the heat for 5 minutes, until they begin to brown.
3) Brush with remaining oil and turn. Grill 5 minutes more.

You can leave the stems on or remove them depending on your personal preference. You can also add freshly grated parmesan cheese to the underside of the mushroom and heat for 2-3 minutes to allow the cheese to slightly melt.
