2 c Flour
2 T Sugar
1/2 C Milk
4 C Apples, sliced
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 C Butter or Margarine
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Egg, separated
1 C sugar
3 T Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix like pie crust the flour, butter, salt and sugar. Add milk and beaten egg yolk. Put 1/2 of pasty in a 9x13 pan or small jelly roll pan. Press dough well over the pan. Mix together apples, sugar, cinnamon and flour. Pour into crust. Add rest of pastry mixture on top of apples by dropping small amounts over top, make sure to not completely cover apples so steam can escape while baking. Beat egg whites and brush on top of crust. Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes.
