2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 1/2 cups mixed pecan pieces and halves
1Tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and water in a heavy 2 qt saucepan. Heat to boiling. (Use low heat) stirring CONSTANTLY. Add pecans. Cook until mixture reaches the softball stage 235º. Remove from heat, stir in butter. Immediately, drop by tsp. onto waxed paper. Let stand until firm. Yield about 1 1/2 dozen.
