1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (49-ounce) container chicken broth
1 (14-ounce) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1/4 cup Orzo pasta (or small pasta like macaroni)
1 (10-ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables (do not thaw)
Shredded Cheddar Cheese (optional)
Bacon, crumbled (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1) Crumble and cook ground beef, onion, garlic, salt and pepper in 4-quart saucepan or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until no longer pink; drain if needed. Add broth, tomatoes, pasta and frozen vegetables; return to a boil.
2) Reduce heat; cover and simmer 8 minutes or until vegetables and pasta are tender.
3) Add in cheddar cheese and bacon if desired to make a bacon-cheeseburger stew.
