2 c. water
1/2 c. salt
Food coloring of choice
2 tbsp. veg oil
2 c. white flour
2 tbsp. powdered alum (can be found in the canning or pharmacy depts)
Directions:
Directions:
Boil 2 c. of water with 1/2 c. of salt. Add food coloring of your choice (or don't). Remove from heat. White still hot, add veg. oil, flour and powdered alum and mix. While warm knead for 5 min.

Put into ziploc bags. Will keep for about 2 months in a covered container.

When Christian and Maya were in preschool their teachers had the parents take turns making this dough for the kids each month. The kids love it and it is a fun activity if you make it together.
