3 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Corn Syrup
1/2 cup water
2 Egg whites
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Lemon flavoring (If you wish)
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 or 1 1/2 cups Pecan pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, water and syrup together. Beat egg whites until stiff. When syrup reaches soft ball stage pour 1/2 over egg whites. Pour in small stream and beat well. Cook remaining syrup until reaches cracked stage. Pour into egg white mixture. Then add Pecans and vanilla. Cool enough to hold shape, drop spoon full on greased paper.
