1 c sugar
2 t cocoa
2 c milk
1/4 t salt
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/3 c flour or 3 T cornstarch
1 t vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, combine sugar, flour, and salt. Gradually add milk and cocoa, mixing well. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils. Cook 2 min longer. Remove from heat. Stir small amount hot mixture into 3 slightly beaten egg yolks, immediately return to hot mixture. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Pour into cooled pastry shell. Put meringue on top and bake at 350º for 12 min.
