1 c soft shortening
2 eggs
2 t cream of tartar
1/4 t salt
1 1/2 c sugar
2 3/4 c sifted flour
1 t soda
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together shortening, sugar, and eggs. Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture, and mix until well blended. Form into small balls the size of walnuts. Roll in mixture of 2 T sugar and 2 t cinnamon. Place about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400º for 10 min.
