Make bread dough
2 tbsp. bacon grease
1 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
potatoes and onions to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Form bread dough into little balls. Put on floured broad let rise until double in size. Put 2 Tbsp bacon grease in kettle and 1 cup water bring to boil with 1/2 tsp salt. Add noodles and cover let cook about 1/2 hour until water cooked away and noodles begin to fry. Potatoes and onions may be added to water and cooked.

Another old time German recipe passed down many generations. This recipe would be considered Germans from Russia Heritage.
