6 large russet potatoes
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup all purpose flour
4 cups cold milk
1 lb processed cheese, cubed
Salt and pepper
2 strips fried bacon, crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and cut potatoes into bite size chunks. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender Drain.
Preheat oven to 350º.
Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add flour; do not brown. Add milk stirring briskly with a whisk. Add cheese and cook, stirring until cheese melts and sauce is thickened. add potatoes, salt and pepper to taste and stir well.
Spoon into a 13x9 in casserole dish Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crisply fried bacon over top.
