Ingredients:
1 lb. hamburger
5 or 6 Jonathan apples
biscuits (homemade or not)

Directions:
Directions:
Make small balls of the meat and roll in flour. Fry in oil or crisco. Meanwhile, slice apples, as for pie. Can be peeled or not. Put slices in large frying pan and add some water, not too much but you want to end up with some liquid. Add some sugar, (maybe 1/2c),a couple tablespoons butter and shake or two of salt. Cover and simmer until apples are soft. When hamburger balls are nice and brown and cooked thru remove from pan and make milk gravy. (mixture of milk and flour) add salt and pepper while cooking. To serve have all things hot. We like to put gravy on some of the biscuits and apples on others.

Personal Notes:
We usually make this in the fall when apples are good. Makes a great brunch!
