6 eggs,1 1/2 c. butter-melted and cooled, 1 1/2 c. sugar,1/4 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. baking powder, 4 tsp. vanilla, 2 tsp. anise extract, 2 to 2 1/2 c. flour and 2 tsp. anise seeds

Blend ingredients together, adding one at a time. Drop batter by the tsp. full onto center of the cookie section of the Pizelle maker. Close the lid and allow to cook 45 to 60 seconds or until lightly brown. Cool on wire rack and dust with powdered sugar. Keeps well in air tight container.
