2 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cups white corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. vinegar
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Do not make this candy if its foggy, raining, or cloudy make it on a sunny day!

Cook until it spins a thread, then pour 1/2 into the whites of 2 eggs which has been beaten stiff--add 1/2 tsp. cream of tarter and salt. Mix until syrup is blended. Cook other half until it hardens or cracks in cold water when tested. Pour into mixture and beat until creamy and stands up in a peak. Flavor to taste.
