1 12 oz. pkg. milk chocolate chips.
2 tbsp. shortening.
1 14 oz. pkg. caramels.
5 tbsp. butter.
2 tbsp. water.
1 c. chopped dry roasted peanuts.

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate chips and shortening in double boiler, or microwave. Pour 1/2 of mixture in 8x8 buttered pan. ( Reserve rest of chocolate for top of bars). Chill mixture in pan until set. Melt the caramels,butter and water then add the peanuts. Pour over chilled chocolate and chill again. Pour remaining chocolate over all and chill again. Cut in squares.

This is another of sister Bev's receipes.Really good ,but cut kind of small squares as they are really rich. Enjoy!
