1 can (15.25 oz.) sliced peaches – light syrup
1 cup sugar
½ cup peach schnapps
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
4 eggs
1 cup of chopped pecans
2/3 cups vegetable oil
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup reserved liquid
½ cup diced Maraschino Cherries

Directions:
Directions:
In glass jar or bowl, combine undrained peaches, sugar, peach schnapps and orange juice. Cover and let stand at room temperature for 24 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10 cup bundt pan.

Drain peaches and reserve the liquid. Chop peach slices.

In large bowl combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, pecans, oil, chopped peaches, Marachino
Cherries, and 1/3 cup of reserved liquid. (Save the remaining liquid for optional icing.)

Stir together until well blended. Pour into prepared bundt pan, bake for 40 to 45 minutes or
until a wooden toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.

Optional Icing

In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and ¼ cup of reserved liquid. Drizzle over
warm cake.
