3 c. grated cheddar cheese (med. or sharp)
1 c. Carnation evaporated milk
½ tsp. salt and ¼ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. mustard
12 eggs, beaten
¼ c. butter
1 ½ lbs. hot sausage
3 slices crumbled bread

Directions:
Directions:
Spray 9x13 glass dish with Pam. Brown sausage and drain well. Set aside. Spread 1 cup of cheese on bottom of dish and then melted butter. Mix milk, salt, pepper, mustard. Add eggs, bread and half of sausage. Stir in remaining cheese and pour into dish. Crumble remaining sausage on top. Cover and let set in refrigerator overnight. Bake uncovered at 325º for 40 min. Let set for 10 min. before serving.Optional: green pepper or mushrooms may be added.
